Folks - thanks again for the feedback. My Battery Tender is "in the Mail" from Amazon and I fully intend to "set it and forget it" with that thing. It claims it is fully automatic, and I have read up on it enough to know that this is in fact the case.

I really hated to have to disconnect the battery all the time. It will be nice to not have to do this anymore.
