My mechanic says the conversions are easy to install. Are you using your current headlights or new ones? You may not get a lot of responses on the RX forum but the IS and GS maniacs can probably sort you out quickly.

Do you find them much better then the stock ones..... I see them everywhere..and in my experience with things like this... if random companies pop up every selling things like this... they are all buying from china anyway... i can find units on ebay from china for $20..
What i really wonder is there any potential damage back to my car if these lights blow or something... i dont mind having to replace a $20 bulb every so often... but id hate to have to replace a computer or something like that because of a hid upgrade...
Also does anyone know what exactly im looking for as far as rims go???
5x114.3 but what does the offset mean... id like to get some 18-19" aftermarkets rims over this winter for springtime... but id like to try and not rub when turning..and not effect gas too much.. its already kinda crappy..
Cheers

My 18x7 5x114.3 with 235/55/18 were a direct swap in for the stock wheels. The only difference was 10mm wider tires. The diameter was almost exactly the same so the speedo runs about 1.6 mph faster at 60 (61.6).
If you stay in that neighborhood you will have no problems.

I think i will order some of these HID off ebay and report back on the install with some pics maybe..

According to this post, 245s will work. Even though you are going to 20s the diameter will actually be less than your standard wheels. Those wheels should work.

Here is the problem. Your lights are not made for HID's. You will be blinding on coming traffic and will scatter a great deal of light. You would actually be endangering on coming traffic. In order to do this correctly, you need a projector type headlight.
As far as installation with your current headlights (non projector) it is extremely simple. You uninstall current light bulbs, hook up the HIDs, mount the ballast (most kits give you the tape to do so) and reinstall. Just don't touch the bulbs. That's it.
Again, I highly do not recommend installing these without projectors.

I used HIDeXtra. They are one of the sponsors here. Working well. one of the bulbs was DOA. Karen from HideXtra sent out another. Good service.
