My RX blower motor is working but makes a sound like a banshee through all stages, increasing in noise level the faster it goes. Anyone have an idea if this means a blower motor swap is required or is it another part problem perhaps?
Thanks.
Thanks.

If it sounds like cards in bicycle spokes, thats what happened to me.
I thought I might have dropped some leaves or something in there when I was changing the cabin filter, but no. I ended up buying a blower motor on e-bay and replacing it.-
No noise after that.

Barryst,
My a/c blower motor made this exact sound and as of this past week, stopped working completely. Air comes out of one vent only. Was the part expensive? How about the labor, was it fairly straight-forward/simple? I'm pretty comfortable with doing minor repairs, and would love to hear your take on this project before I go spend hundreds of dollars at a shop.
Much appreciated,
Lindsey

First isolate if it is a blower or venting/ducting issue. Venting issue is most probably related to mode servo (please search).
