What should I do with my ride? lol
OK, so I have a black 99 rx300. Because my dad pays for the insurance, I'm not allowed to do anything major to it, specifically have a new muffler installed. However, I was wondering if a resonating exhaust tip would do anything to enhance the exhaust's "growl" and if so, could anyone recommend a brand? I live near an Advance and a Pepboys so preferably a brand that's sold there. I haven't done anything too major to the car yet, but I have replaced the factory lugnuts (silver) with black ones to match the car's color. Looks FRESH!!! Also, I have a friend who replaced all his beige interior bulbs with some blue and white LEDs and he said that you can find lighting kits with all the bulbs for your specific car model's interior online. Does anyone know a website where you can do this? Any additional suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. What should I do with this car?

Replace the exhaust! It looks a million times better. j/k No a resonating exhaust tip wont do much to enhance any growl as the stock muffler is whisper quiet, but I uploaded a picture that shows the 2001 tails and you might want to do that as well, pretty popular and straight forward upgrade.
You can also do HID's on your lowbeams, or fog lamps.
There's not too much you can go crazy with just keep it clean with routine washes and waxes, and keep up with the maintenance.

im liking that rx man. yeah the taillights have been something i've wanted to replace for a while and it'll make the car look two years newer. and it looks like they took the factory reflective film off the back windows and actually tinted them, something I've been DYING to do to mine. haha im liking the toyota racing plate frame aswell, plus i bet that exhaust sounds FRESH.

As for the tail lights....try EBAY....I picked some black LED tails which help shave some years off the look of the 1st gen
black LED
Chrome LED
Red LED
Chrome circular LED
Red 3-rows LED

Yep, that's right, you cannot replace the tint, it's the glass that is tinted not a film. That is my car in the picture and it looks that way because I tinted it with dark film over the rear glass, kind of the best you can do but it turned out alright.
The exhaust is a Magnaflow 14829, just cut and welded after flange.

Why do you want to make the car louder if it isn't going any faster. Just buy it for looks and appreciate the note you may get. Buy a turbo or supercharger if that keen to make a difference as notes are only activated when flooring it and you will save money not to hear it. Some of the fastest cars sound awful. A simple exhaust tip even a bolt over will actually change the note of your car so if it is about sound i suggest you start with just a bolt on tip.
