Chrome Rocker Panels on Lexus RX300?
i'd like to hear opinions on this. my dad used to have a 91 Volvo 940 station wagon that had been previously owned by a gangster type guy who put chrome rocker panels on the car and I remember it looked really unique and fresh. do you think this would be a stupid idea to have installed on my black 99RX? I want my car to stand out from EVERY other RX on the road and i'm imagining it would look good.

No, actually it would look pretty cool on a black 99 RX. I thought about doing that at one time, but for aerodynamic reasons I never went ahead and did it.

IMO i think it would look out of place, unless you have chrome wheels or chrome bumpers. however this is your car and do whatever makes you happy. who cares what other people think. i bet a lot of people dont like what i did to my RX. they dont drive it, so im not concerned.
