Just three days ago, I took my 2001 Lexus RX300 in for all new drive belts, a new timing belt, and a new alternator. The next day, a check engine light came on. I had to have the bank one sensor one 02 sensor replaced yesterday. All seemed well. Just 10 minutes ago, the check engine light came back on. Anyone have any thoughts?

Yep, have to have the codes read. I personally believe anyone who owns a car with OBDII should own an inexpensive reader. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with, you need to be armed with that information. I wish ALL mechanics were honest and competent, but that's FAR from true. God Bless the good honest ones, but the others will empty your pockets and still not fix the problem.

I was getting the P1135 bank 1 sensor 1 code, so that's what was replaced. I haven't had it checked yet this time. I'm going to take it back to the mechanic that replaced it.
