Fog lights not working
Ive got a 99 RX300 and the fog lights haven't worked since I bought it last week. I checked the fuse and it was good. Is it possible both of the bulbs are burned out? Also how do I get to those bulbs. They seem quite buried. Any help would be appreciated!!

Probably just burned out. Changing them sucks.....IIRC, you have to take out some screws and/or plastic snaps from the wheel well liner, fold it out of the way, then you should be able to access the foglight bulb. (turning the wheel away from the light you are working on helps big time)

Do the fog lights come on when you have parking lights on? [First click] ... the fogs turn off when the high beams are on.

Are the DRL wired in with the fog lights? Also the fog lights don't come at all no matter weather I have the headlights on or not and also with the high beams off. Anyone know if there is a DIY fog light replacement thread with pics? Thanks!

I understand that but as Peter5767 suggested, he said to check the thread about disable day light driving so I was wondering with him suggesting this that he ment the fog lights were wired in with the day time running lights. Just so I am clear, I am talking about the FOG lights (the one that is circled in red in the pic) that are not working, not the day time running lights. I apologize if I was confusing

The problem is diagnosing across the net and doing it without sounding rude.
If both (left and right) are not working, a good assumption is they are not getting 12v (both bulbs can pop too).
The fog light switch must be ON (on the stalk)
Lights must be ON but at low beam (normal) setting {no high beam .. blinding**
There is an interdependence, and we are talking with the set up that has not been messed around.
Access to one fog light is easier than the other. Pull the bulb out and check and you can check for 12v after ensuring the things above are set.
All the above is for completeness and should not be construed as being rude.

No offense taken . Bad news though, I finally pulled both fog lamp bulbs to which they were both good. With the fuse not being blown and bulbs that are also not blown, it would point to an electrical problem somewhere.

Found the relay location here: http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/compone...01-2220~3.html That is an awsome website if your trying to track down electrical stuff! Im gonna head to Schucks and throw in a new one to see if that fixes it. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
