Good evening to all. It was a very bad cold weather in NYC. I want to upgrade my rear door speakers with Alpine SPS-600 or infinity Reference 6032cf speakers. Do you think it will give me more a clear sound or would it be the same like stock speaker? But if I upgrade the AMP.,SUB., and all speakers (keep the original radio)? Does anyone have ideas or already upgraded the system please let me know. My 2000 Rx 300 AWD has Pioneer Premium sound system. Thanks.

I upgraded my 2002 rx300 recently by replacing the 4 door speakers with those alpine speakers you mentioned, the sound is clearer better midrange and tweeter sound. I also had a 10" Alpine subwoofer and 300 w Alpine sub amp added, once installed you need to balance the subwoofer settings on the amp to suit your needs. The system is a definate improvement, simply because the stock sub woofer under the passesger seat is so small. I am still fine tuning the sound to what music i listen to,playing a cd is big difference crystal clear clean sound, good luck.

Hi Python1, thanks for your respone. Today i tried to install rear speakers " Infinity Reference 6032cf 6.75" 2-way Speakers" but could not brace the speaker adapter that comes from crutchfield. I will show some pics. Which locations of your car you install new 10" sub and amp.? Do you have any pics or details? Thanks.

Infinity speaker with adapters (middle on comes with speakers box and other one from crutchfield) but i couldnot brace the speaker.

I think the speaker should be brace with adapter like this or any otherway. But i couldnot put screws it goes outer the circle of adapter.

gazi001- I had my system put in by a local stereo shop where i bought the speakers and amp. My criteria was to have them improve the sound with keeping the cost under control. As far as my sub amp . I had it installed against the rear bottom of the back seat driver side, it is low and out of the way but accessable for adjustment. The sub woofer box in my case is sitting on velcro against the back seat-would post pictures but dont have yet. As far as your speakers,i would call crutchfield and make sure they sold you speakers that fit with their adapters.

Sunday I finished my rear speaker upgrade project. I installed both rear speakers with Infinity Reference 6032CF. Sound is better than before. Here some pics: Braces both speaker with adapters.
