Default Code Help?

Well now it's my turn. I have been getting occasional P1150 codes for about 6 months. I would just reset it and forget about it for a month or more. Recently it has been coming back about every 3rd drive and I got a P1153 for good measure. The other day it loaded up with something like 8 codes, I did not bother to read them all since I figured with that many the root cause was lost in the mess. So I went ahead and ordered a Denso A/F sensor and plan to install it in the front bank. Now today I check it again just to keep an eye on it (no CEL) and it is showing a pending P1130 & P0300. What's up with that? This is the back bank now. I threw some fuel injector cleaner in it a while back but I don't think it did anything. Why am I seeing issues with both banks and now a random misfire? A/F sensors only have about 20K-30K miles on them. Help.

Around 77K miles. I took a look at the MAF sensor last night and will clean it today. The weird thing was there was some oily residue on the outside of the MAF and around the air intake tube. When I pulled it out to look at it there more residue in the intake tube. Nothing significant that you could wipe up or anything like that, more like a little stain from something getting in or coming out of there. Not sure what to make of that?? I would think that would have to have come from the ouside and made it's way in since nothing is under preasure there.

Have you changed your PCV valve?

Yes, changed the PCV valve about 9 months ago. It did look like there was a breather of some kind coming off the front valve cover into the intake. Any chance the codes are coming from an oily MAF?

Dirty MAF would regularly give me issues, but I found it more in conjunction when I had my old A/F sensors. Now, I rarely get any code at all.

I guess I will clean the MAF and pop the new A/F sensor in the front bank and see what happens. It's weird to me that it's so intermittent. It's poping up a lot now, but even then I could drive it for 20 minutes and come back with no codes. You would think it would pop the code quicker if something was really wrong.

The P0125 I would ignore. I'd love to be able to hookup my laptop software to see what your A/F sensor readings were. Only other thing that comes to mind is perhaps an exhaust leak.

Just wanted to follow up for anyone that gets these additional codes. Replaced Bank 2 Sensor 1 and all is well again. Not sure why a code popped for the other bank or all of the other misfire stuff, but one new sensor fixed it all. I got lucky and got it out with a big crescent wrench and a few taps with the side of a little sledge hammer.

I sure like my dead blow hammer for such work. One of the dead blow hammers has saved my knuckles and tools quite a few time in the past.
