As with computer issues, first check to see if it is plugged in. LOL. Mine would accept and hold a speed, but upon brake cancelling, or moving the stalk, it would always cancel. So I found the module in the engine compartment, noted the electrical connector on it, pressed the release tab and unplugged it. Cleaned it, squirted electro repair grease into each pin hole, wiped it clean, re-plugged it in, and voila! All cruise functions now work perfectly. Cost, 98 cents.

Others with problem; find the under hood (bonnet) cruise module. Carefully pull the electrical plug free by pressing the release tab. Squirt electro-conductive repair grease into the plug holes, press in with finger, repeat, then wipe clean. Plug it back in, all may now be good.

Default What pins to test actuator?

Hi, just wondering what pins are used to test the actuator? And I presume 12 volts? I looked and could not find a diagram. Thanks for any help

Tim

[QUOTE=Boger;6349107]Just 2 update y'll on the solution:

The actuator was the issue, it didn't actuate ....

I tested it using the method described in the workshop manual (attaching the battery to the 4 connection of the actuator), but nothing happend.
So I took the actuator out of the car to have a closer look.
