Default Accelerate slowly and smoothly will help to prevent damaging transmission?

Hi all,

I learned that the new generation of RX300 delay 1-2 seconds to re-accelerate the car, in order to prevent the suddenly rising of local heat. Meanwhile, in most of the time, the damage of the transmission of the first generation RX300 is when the car is being start.

I am just thinking if we start the car with slow acceleration will help to prevent the rising heat.
