Default Which wear out first - front or rear struts?

My 2001 300RX with 110K and original suspension seems to take bumps better in the front than the rear. Does it make sense that the rears would wear out first?

I would expect the fronts to wear out first because of the heavier weight in the front end, but I don't know for sure.

As a rule, yes, the fronts usually wear out faster than the rears unless you have a failure/defect. Having said that, all 4 of mine seem pretty good, still, at almost 150,000 miles.
