Sweet!

But...uhhh...those homemade rims. Bing-bling and pinky ring...
I was like deer in the headlights.

Those runningboards dealer installed?

=) I drove all the way down to Huntington Beach to get it FACTORY installed. The total damage was 550+tax=591, which is $300 cheaper then what Lexus quoted.

Does your running board lights light up when you open the door or is it on when you have your parking lights on? Cool board.

thanks for the comps... the lights are tapped into the dome lights so they are lit when the doors open or when you arm/disarm the alarm and it's off during normal driving. I wonder if there's a way to add a relay or a switch to toggle it on/off during driving. What are the ramifications of having the running board lights connected to both the dome and side marker lights?? Hmm.

IMO, don't mess with it. Just right like it is - hooked up to the dome lights - no better way! Keep it simple, keep it working I don't always follow that...
