Default A sad day..

..we said goodbye to our RX. Thanks to the great members here, I maintained the vehicle on my own and she gave us 9 years of great service. She'll be missed.

ES350... The RX was wifey's car, I just took care of. I was probably more attached to it then she was cause I was the one who maintained it. I really hated seeing it go, I don't know why. I feel like an idiot just being sad about it.

No, its a Coach Edition RX300. The interior leather was super nice and had the lighter color wood trim.

No transmission problems at all.

The only thing it had for a short while was a very small RMS leak that Auto-Rx pretty much patched up.

Other then that it had only common stuff go out, like the "D"(drive light) on the dash needed replacing and such.

That thing looks nice! I have never seen that color before, looks very clean, sorry to see it go.

Thanks. There were a few door dings and an accumulation of tiny specs on the front bumper..mostly from highway driving. Other then that it was fairly clean. Always looked great after a detail.

I can tell you without a doubt that you are not the only one that can be saddened by the selling or loss of a great car...

"Coach Edition" are the only RX300s to have wood steering here in Canada and as far as know it came in only one colour and as in your picture, released in 2003 .. the colour from a distannce tells its a "Coach Edition".
I don't know why they gave it that name .. does it have anything to do with the "Coach hand bag company" due to super leather they used ?

Yes, the interior leather was Coach leather and the head rests had the logo stamped on it.

I just replaced my 99 RX (140K miles) two months ago for an upgrade to the GX. Except for the transmission, I had very few problems with it. It was the best car I have ever owned, at least up to now hopefully
