Default License Plate Light Screws Rusted

I've read about this in some other thread but i cant seem to find it anymore. What would be the best way to remove the license plate light screws that are rusted in to replace the bulb? thanks in advance

What kind of bulb are you replacing it with?
LED?

I plan on doing this by the end of the week

Are you planning on doing any other LEDS anywhere else in the vehicle?

I changed the dome lights (front middle trunk), courtesy door lights, and put in HID's. i wanna change the license plate light and glove box soon however my sisters took my car since shes home from college and I'm driving my mom's friend's 01 Sequoia around. After driving the Sequoia around for a week and taking the RX to school today felt so off.

Ill get to changing the lights when I get the time and my sisters actually home with the car!

Good luck to ya Chicotrini!

I was considering changing out to HIDs as well.
Any suggestions?
How long have you had them in and did you have any problems blowing?

Will post my pics as soon as I am done

I got my HID's from ddmtuning (Raptor 35w) about 2 months ago and they're pretty good so far. No flickering no blown ballasts. I have 6000k but they seem a bit too blue for me. I would probably recommend the 5000k. Took me 15 minutes to install because i plugged the wires into the ballasts the wrong way.

How about a replacement for the 2 screws on the plate themselves ??? One of mine to replace the plate is totally gone. I guess I am going to pull out the Dremel tool. Brian

why do they not make a titanium or waterproof type or dipped screw for these.. with some easy replacement techniques after 10 years ???

There is nothing special about these screws. IIRC they are just little phillips steel screws.
You can get replacements at any Home Depot. You probably have some sitting in a drawer. I just used whatever was laying around.

The hard part is getting the old ones out.
