See here on first page, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...out-yours.html
The MAF sensor is that square thingy just after the airbox on the driver's side of the engine, while the PCV valve is on the passenger side tucked just behind the intake manifold.
Electrical Contacts Cleaner (CRC makes this and it is available at most auto parts places) is the the best thing to use for cleaning. Ironically, I just cleaned my MAF sensor, PCV valve and the IACV valve just yesterday and they were dirty. A dirty MAF can also lead to knocking and pinging.

Yes, that electrical contacts cleaner also works just fine. Just used it as well the other day to clean the IACV and a big blob of black gunk came out on the paper towel.

This is my first time loosing any screws of my car so just want to make clear...please be patience with me.
1) the MAF sensor that you mention in the link is the Black thing that sitting on the metallic (pic 1)? and the screws that i need to remove are those hexa screws that holding the sensor?
2) I took a snapshot on my engine. As you can see, i would like to ask guidance of how to remove the hose so that i can clean the IACV valve. I notice two screws on each valve at the back (pic2) and a screw near the sensor pic3), are those thing to remove completely?
3) Their is another big hose cover with black rubber hose (pic 4)...i should disconnect that too, right?
here are the pictures i upload to kijiji... http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ295632334
thank you in advance for helping.

For your first question. Use a philips head to remove the two screws shown below and then press where circled on the right and pull that electrical connector off. I just happened to modified mine to use hex bolts because I have a different kind of intake.

Let me add something important. When you get the IACV cover off, make sure while you are spraying the cleaner in that hole to thoroughly turn back and forth many times the little **** that opens and shuts the IACV as shown in the thread above. I have found that there is a lot of deposits that can be there and that's how the IACV can get stuck for me on occasion. That's mostly my fault given I run an open air intake system with no filter, but still the deposits can also occur because of the way the positive crankcase ventilation system works (something I have disconnected in part for that reason).
