That is just the computer guestimate calculation. Actual calculation is to fill up the tank, drive it empty, fill up again, do the math, and that is the correct mpg.

I wouldn't call it a guestimation. The computer is actually very accurate, the ecu's calculation has always been within' .2 whenever I check it against an actual calculation.
