What ABS Scan tool works for RX300 ?

The above method of reading the ABS code works!
my case,
Code 31. Front Right Sensor. Part Number 89542-48010. (~$210 - includes bracket, wire harness and socket...) - first photo below.
my none working sensor - resistance check reads "OPEN". Second photo below.
my brand new sensor - resistance check reads ~1.6Kohms. Third photo below.
After installation, drive less than a half-mile (maybe couple of brakes ?) takes away the "ABS" light on the dashboards... it is now fix...

I have read the diagnostic codes by the diagnostic plug under the hood by the master cylinder.With the car off. Open the cap, remove the short pin, (Its a metal jumper,I use my fingers and it pulls right up.) carefully read the inside of the connector cap, and jump Tc and E1 with your fused* short wire. Leaving the wire there, now go and turn your key to the point where all the lights on the dash come on. (Right before the starter kicks in)The ABS light on the dash will start to flash the stored codes. The amount of time the ABS flashes shows the codes (delay flash, flash, flash, delay, flash, delay.delay. flash, flash, flash, delay, flash, flash. delay... would be code 31 and 32) after codes are read, turn key to off and remove jumper wire and re-install short pin. If you have codes 11, and 21 all should be normal.
If I recall. To clear codes, after having read codes, turn key off, turn back on to read codes again and quickily hit the brake petal 8 times in 5 seconds. If the codes are ready to be cleared, they will. If not they will remain.
I too am having problems with my ABS. I have purchaced all the shop manuals.
(I LOVE THEM!)
There is a good amount of info I would have never found easily. I am now into big dollar items to replace, and I am weighing my options of possibly getting another rx.
If you read your codes, there is a list of them it the manual. Let us know what you find.
* fused short wire. I have created my own short wire with an in-line fuse you can find at Radio Shack. I have seen people on U-Tube use a paper clip as a jumper.

I suspected a broken right front tone ring when I had a pulse in that wheel upon stopping, but no ABS light on. So I disconnected the right front ABS sensor under the wheel well, and sure enough, no more pulsing, but now the ABS light on the dash.
After reconnecting it the ABS light stayed on, bummer. So I took the wheel well off again and made sure the connection was good. ABS light still on after driving again! Then I read your post.
Checked the ABS code and sure enough it was 31 flash flash flash delay flash.
Then I took the jumper off, and turned the key on, ABS light on, and pressed the brake pedal 8 times in 5 seconds. Magic happened. ABS light OFF.
Still have the broken tone ring that I need to fix though.
Have you replaced a tone ring on your RX300? I have one on order from Rockauto...
Any tips on how to get that done easily... or do I need a mechanic.

I am waiting for the tone ring to get here then will give it a shot.
My 1999 RX has 193K miles, next project is to try to stiffen up the suspension to "like new".
I had replaced all 4 struts with the KYBs about 18 months ago but that didn't do the trick.
Not sure if I need new springs, mechanic said unlikely, or something else. I did change out the bushings on the front and rear sway bar, and also replaced the lower control arms...
I am waiting for the tone ring to get here then will give it a shot.

Just forget all that jumping and else.
Go to Harbor Freight Tools, they ABS CAN BUS compatible scanner for around $100. I have one, for about 5 years, works fine. You can even run live feed on it. I think, they dropped price on them to around $80 now.
Scan, then either return it or keep it. Comes handy, you know.

It is not expected to solve any problem.
You can purchase the right scanner tool or follow the steps in #11, and read the flashes and interpret them to the code [or codes if there are multiple faults].
Then you will need a chart that will give you the region of fault and then you have to diagnose [either by scientific reasoning/observations or by swapping.

PS: Your message is so brief that a reader can not give you a more precise answer. My post may be utterly useless as you may already know what I stated. Also note that the ABS system requites that your battery be in tip top condition. I was chasing my tail, till I realizes that I had blown diodes on my alternator giving too many dead phases, producing a pretty noisy DC voltage. I had to take the alternator out and had it bench tested. [red discharge light in the instrument panel never lit up during driving .. giving me the false charging system is good].
