Hi I alresdt own a is300 n looking to get my wife a new car I'm lookin at a 2001 rx300 it has 123,xxx they won't 10,400 for it is that a good price?? Any knowb issues with this vehicle?? or this model year??

does it have All wheel drive, navigation? The transmission were the weak point, but the 2001 seems to have done better than the 1999 or 2000. What condition is it in? I sold my 99 in excellent condition however with 188k miles for $6000. Check the transmission fluid for a dirty or burnt smell, otherwise the car is reasonably sound. There was a sludge issue as well, but removing the front valve cover will give you an immediate indication...Dont look under the oil fill cap as it will generally have a crust look, that is perfectly normal.
