I receive a number of phone calls per day regarding the best all-season tire for the Lexus RX model, so I thought a post may help some find their answers through the forum. Most of the Lexus RX owners I speak with want a tire that is smooth, quiet, hydroplaning resistant and has good snow and ice grip. I have compiled a list of the top 3 performers from my personal customers experiences as well as overall great customer survey results to back up these recommendations.

Thanks, I started with Bridgestone Dueler and then to Kumho Solus KH16. Both have served me well in the ride and smoothness, except Kumho's were reasonable price.

Honestly, for a good rain/snow/ice tire, they might not look "right", but the BFG All-Terrain is what you need.
These are likely the next tires on my wife's car. The Kumhos on there, I'm not at all happy with...noise/wear/traction. Was happy with them, before they were 'made in China'.

Put Goodyear Assurance ComforTreds on about a year ago. Very smooth riding, grip well on dry, wet or snowy roads. Have about 30K on them now, with very little wear showing. So far, they've been a great decision.

OEM tires invariably rank poorly in TireRack's customer surveys. I sometimes wonder if the OEM tires are really that bad or if the customers are rating them on a relative scale (ie rating their old, worn-out, OEM tires against their brand new tires). I suspect most brand new tires feel a lot better than the old ones they replaced. For what its worth, I've had Integrities on my RX since new (150,000 miles) and they are a nice riding, quiet tire.

Eventually we had them replaced w/ a different set of tires.
