99 RX300 AWD: Will post codes when I get back home this weekend to work on the wife's car again. Quick description - starts, idles fine, revs up well in park. Put in drive, start to go and the engine bogs down, misfires, etc... Have already replaced a couple O2 sensors in the past. Tried replacing MAF with no change (previous code that popped). Help?
BTW - This forum is AWESOME! I have spent a couple hours reading now and I have so much more maintenance to do thanks to the easy instructions! Thanks to the mod's, especially LexMex! And thanks to all those who continue to post, what a great way to learn and help each other out.

Where you start is cancel the codes out and see what pops up 1st. That may not point you directly at what the problem is, but it is where you start. You can't possibly chase 11 codes!!!!
People start chasing codes as though they were the Holy Grail. VERY BIG MISTAKE! Codes point you in a direction, and not always THE RIGHT direction! When you have the code or codes that pop up 1st, then see if what you're experiencing lines up with the DTC's. It's a game and even professional mechanics lose some hair from head scratching a lot of times, and they're way ahead of the game compared to the average Joe.
