Odometer rollbacks on RX?
Hi guys, I live in Alberta, Canada, and I am looking at purchasing an RX. I was looking at this add on Kijiji:
http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAd?A...nJ4lj%2B%2FQo*
but the kms is very low. I know our province has an issue with people rolling back odometers to get a higher price for their used vehicles. 12,800 is pretty high for a 2001, but if the 85k is real then it would be worth it.
The question is, how can I assure myself that number is real?

You can ask for service history and each time the vehicle goes in for service, odo is recorded. This also give clues to how the vehicle was used over years.

Also, the Lexus website can give you the service history from Lexus dealers, at least in the U.S., but I don't know if it is provided to non-owners plugging in the VIN.
