I don't know how to explain it.
But I have a 1999 Lexus RX300 and does it make a small noise when first stepping on the gas pedal until it changes to the next gear (then it goes away) or is it just me?
Just wondering to make sure if it's normal or not.
Thanks.

Assuming you are at a stop light and you step on the accelerator, do you hear the click just a tad later?
If so, check underneath the vehicle just in front of the main catalytic converter. There's a joint on the exhaust piping there held in by two 14mm bolts. When that gasket in that joint goes bad, it can make a click upon acceleration. You may be able to verify by having someone else drive the car slowly from a dead stop and notice the sound underneath.

Its in the first few seconds when I stepped on my gas pedal while making the turn (may need to turn up your volume to hear it) ...
I'm just wondering if that's normal or not because I bought the 1999 RX300 @ 174,000 miles for school commuting.

The clunk you heard after you completed the turn, was the signal lever going back to it's normal position.
BTW: the link you gave for youtube didn't work, I had to manually search it. So for anyone else having a problem using the link above try this one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYY9mvwqowY
