Please help!
Since three days ago, my 2001 Rx300 refuses to start, unless I have my foot down on the gas pedal.
I have also realized that EVERY TIME I start my car, the clock resets.
Could it be the battery problem? I changed mine exactly three years ago.
It seems too soon or is it about the time I change to a new one.
ALSO, my car started to sound like a really old car (meaning it sounds really loud when I drive)
According to the threads I have been reading on the forum, I'm guessing it's either the muffler or the catalytic converter.
Does anybody know what could be the problem with the loudness??

You have listed 3 problems.
Clock reset to zero ===> bad/poor battery. Have it checked under load.
Failure to keep idle ===> First make sure the battery is strong enough to spin/crank the engine and then confirm that you can hold idle by keeping the gas pedal down a bit. Most probably you need to have the IACV cleaned/serviced. [Search IACV]
Loud exhaust ==> {least of the problem ,,, bit embarrassing} Take the RX to a muffler shop and let them find the leak and suggest a fix.
