Is the Koni a complete unit as pictured?

 

I thought KYB = OEM? Everything I have read and been told by Toyota and KYB says KYB aftermarket is exactly the same as KYB OEM.

 

KYB is the manufacture of the struts that came with the RX.

I'd rank them otherwise though, KYB at the top.

 

Yes, KYB made the OE struts. My point is that the KYB aftermarket struts are made to the exact same specification as the KYB OE struts. Many manufacturers make OE and aftermarket parts but the specs are not always the same.
