99 rx300

Hello again,
I have another problem with my 99 rx300.. The sun roof will not close, it sounds as if it is binding some where.. it is stuck in the vent position, (the rear portion of the roof is tilted up)
any thoughts??

Did this happen suddenly or has it been getting progressively worse to the point that it no longer closes?

Good morning,
As far as I know this happened while the wife was closing the roof with no warning..

There should be a little section of the headliner that you can pop out. Looks about the size of a half dollar, and then you are able to use one of the tools for replacing your spare tire, that are in the car, to wind it shut. Other than that, I would take it to a pro.
