The local Costco gave me a price of $556. However, they need 3 days
to get the tire in, so I went down to the local Merchant's Tire
Center.
The manager at Merchant's matched that price immediately and
the Cross Terrains were IN-STOCK!
$556 with everything,
including lifetime balancing/rotation and road hazard protection.
One hour later, I drove off Merchant's lot in a set of new Cross
Terrain tires. All I couldn say was "OH MY GOD!" These tires
are real fantastic, compared to the original Bridgestone Dueler
H/Ts supplied by Lexus!
I want to say thanks to everyone here who have written about
the CTs. My decision was 95 percent based on these positive
comments left on ClubLexus RX300 forum...
If I knew how good the CTs were, I'd have bought them the day
I picked up my RX300, not 30000 miles later...

Yes, 225/60/16... didn't want to push it by going to 235. ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I had them mount the tires with the black side out. (white
letters are on the inside and not visible) I prefer it this way...

The tire size should be 225 70R 16. Right?
I just ordered 4 at Costco for $496.00
This price includes life time balance, rotation, free flat repair and mounting...etc.
Great deal!

(the one in Fairfax, VA) Which Costco did you go to? I can't
imagine why a MD Costco has a better price than a VA Costco
half an hour away...

I had the CrossTerrain tires on for almost 10 days. Somehow
I managed to put 1500 miles on them already! Love every
single mile on these great tires!

DJSprinkles -
The pirelli scopians - which model are you referring to? The Zero? I'm assuming you must have had aftermarket wheels to accomodate a 255? To the best of my knowledge there's no way you could put that tire on the OEM 16x6.5 wheels.
Those zeros are awesome tires - I saw them on a Hyundai Santa Fe w/ 18" wheels - that was BY FAR the best part of that whole package - the wheels and the zeros.
I'm stumped as to what I want when my Duelers finally wear out... I've got the 16x6.5 OEMs, so I can go up to 235 (which I plan to)... I want the tire with the stiffest sidewall and best handling/cornering/least sidewall roll possible. I know everybody here loves these Cross Terrains, but I'm not sold on either the looks or the statistics on them.
Looking at the Bridgestone Dueler H/P 680 in a 235, the Kumho Ecsta in a 235, the Pirelli Scorpian S/T in a 235, or the Cross Terrains in a 235. Glad I don't need tires yet because my mind is far from made up...
