Maybe because they don't know the answer.

I apologize for reading your post and not answering it. Like hypervish I don't know the answer off the top of my head and don't feel like searching for the answer.

Why don't you try looking up the part number for your headlight on a Toyota commerce store (like trademotion or Sewell Lexus) or even car-part.com and see if its the same part number for a 2001?

Yes they do. I put 01-03 headlights onto my 99 and they fit no problem. I don't know why you would want to downgrade the headlights, but ok. As long as your 01 doesn't have HID headlights, you should be good to go with installing the 2000 headlights.

I bought following lights (01-03 RX300 CCFL HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS ) for my 2000 RX 300. It works good no problems. You could see: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...installed.html

thanks everybody for
helping me and also I apologize for patronizing you all...

also the 2000 headlights are EE-TY711 Eagle eyes.... and was wondering would that fit a 2001 Lexus rx300.. the reason why I'm asking is because some is looking to buy my old headlights...since I upgraded my headlight to real projectors...

I think the person has a factory h.I.d. in their 2001 n before I swapped out my old headlights I had the whole hid aftermarket h.I.d system in my car so the h.I.d bulbs remained in the headlights and wanted to know could the buyer still use these headlights even if they have a factory h.I.d. in their car
