Hello everyone,
I recently registered though have been hanging around for a few months. In Sept 2010 we bought our first Lexus a 2001 RX300 AWD with 85k. With the exception of it slightly hanging up between first and second gear when shifting around 2200 RPMS, its been a great truck.
My question for now is can someone recommend a good wiper blade for our trucks. Auto zone has blades from $6.00 each to $23.00 each...Bosch and RainX, and some other brands.
Thank you!

Hey, Justin!
Welcome! My daughter has a well-used '99, and it's been a great vehicle. So far, I have used the Lexus blade refills in the original wiper assemblies, slipping the blades in and out of the clips on the arm. It's kind of a pain to get the rubber to slide through the clips correctly, but if I can do it, anyone can. They were about $6-8 each last time I bought them from Sewell or Carson just over a year ago.
Part numbers are:
Driver 85214-50100
Passenger 85214-26020
Rear 85214-OE050
I hope that is helpful!

Welcome to Club Lexus!
Just yesterday I bought wipers from Costco, $8 per side. They are Goodyear Assurance wipers. I haven't installed them yet, and I probably won't install them till the current one's break or start to wipe bad. I always keep an extra set of wipers with me.

In general it seems like the more $ I spend on a blade, the worse it works. Those new super duper frameless blades that are supposed to conform to any curve work like crap for me, especially on the rear window.
