I just bought a 2003 RX and would like to put a bike rack in the existing roof rails. Anybody have suggestions where I can find such a rack? I don't want to install a new rack in addition to the existing rails, that would look stupid.

I bought mine from my Lexus dealer. It it labeled at a Toyota bike rack and is the one pictured in the RX300 brochure. It attaches to the existing roof rack and mounts the whole bike up top - front tire stays on.
I have some pictures of it in this thread. There are also some in the gallery, somewhere.

If you want to go with a name-brand, Thule has a couple of options. One uses the factory cross bars. The other uses the factory rails but Thule load bars. Of course, Thule and Yakima have complete systems that don't use anything factory, but that wouldn't answer your question. Obvious Web sites have more info.
One of the benefits of the Thule approach is that you can use fork mounts instead of upright mounts. I suppose some folks don't like having to remove the front wheel, but my experience is that fork mounts are much more stable and secure. Also, if you opt for the factory rail system, you'll end up with a regular Thule rack that can carry just about anything (skis, kayaks, canoes, ...). But note that load capacity of the RX300 is only 75 lbs, so it better be a light canoe.
