Hi
I am also having this problem .
My 2002 model RX 300 does not have the Navg system.
Some older model has a digital clock below the LCD display which means Navgiation system is on.
But the new 2002 model all do not have the digital clock. I am wondering if there is any ways to verify how to install the Navg system and how

Here are your options:
1. Carry an idependant NAV system.
If you have a lap-top, all you need is additional receiver
($100) and software ($60). With cell phone & ISP, you
can have a total solution.
Purchase a total package NAV system. ($600 - $2000+)
2. Lexus (RX) Nav system.
Retro fitting will cost you more than what you could have
paid at the time of purchase.
Your best option of getting Lexus Nav would be to sell your
RX and buy one which has the Nav.

go to any lexus dealer near u. or wherever u got ur Rx. go ask them to install a navi in ur car. thats basically it. im not sure how much it goes for rite now. just go ask around lexus dealers.
in any case, u can install and run non lexus navi systems. there r some nice navi systems out there. look around.
