This 1999 Rx 300 will not start. If i spray starting fluid in the air filter chamber it will run for a bit.. It than shut off. I am thinking fuel pump. It also makes a clicking when the key is turned to acess.
She said the acceleration was bad before this all happen. If any have some answer please help. I know very little about this vehicle. Where is the fuel pump located and how does one change it. Location of fuel filter and any thing else I might need to check. It has a half tank of fuel. I did check that and the gauge does work. Is there a relay location I need to check for power. I need help fast.
Only WAY TO WORK!!!! Thanks!!

If you have to use starter fluid to make it start, it's obviously a fuel delivery issue. Make sure you got gas, do NOT trust the gauge. If it go enough gas and still won't start, I would get the fuel pressure tested make sure it's within specs. Also check the power and ground for the fuel pump and make sure it's good.
