Default trouble starting

Hi; my '00 rx300 has 211k miles. I notice when i park on an incline i have trouble starting, seems like the engine isnt getting enough gas to turn over. If it does start, i have to keep the rpm up or it quits. But after a few miles theres no issue, and there arent any issues starting after parked on a flat surface (eg driveway). I took to local garage but the problem didnt present again so no action was taken. Any suggestions?

Does it run at start, if you keep the gas pedal depressed just a bit? If the answer is YES then search on IACV.

Tell us a bit about cold start and warm start conditions?

Check your air-filter too. At about 220k miles you will need a new set of plugs (assuming the first set was changed at 110k miles)

Try keeping your gas tank more than 1/2 full.

Does it start and then stall? If so, look at the throttle position sensor and the MAF, too.

If it only happens when parked on an inclined than the fuel tank is tilted and the fuel pump is not getting enough gasoline through. Just a thought.
