I bought my rx used with 60000 miles, the dealer showed me cars with 180000 miles on it and still going strong. Is this usual for a lexus? I need mine to last a long time.

My first Lexus was a 1990 ES250 Camry. Had 136,000 miles on it and still going strong when it was traded in for my RX. A neighbor that lived in my old subdivision also had a '90 ES250, and his kids are still driving it to this day - last time I talked to him 4 years ago, that car had over 100k on it (not sure exactly how many)... It's gotta be WELL past that now - and that's the VERY first Lexus and a low-end one at that. Make no mistake, these cars are built to be driven a LONG time!

Just make sure you're taking good care of it, at least a regular oil change every 3-5k. Where did you buy your RX from? A Lexus dealer or other.
