Does anyone know if the bolt holes for the 99 spoiler and the 02 spoiler are the same? My 99 has a spoiler already but I would like to switch to the new style

I believe not. The '00-'03 OEM spoiler is mounted on the upper sides of the rear hatch.

Isn't the '99 is attached on the top of the rear hatch on either side of the sprayer nozzle?

I did this mod to my 99RX300, though I didn't have any spoiler on it to start with.

You can mount the 01/02/03 style spoiler onto a 99 model. If you open the rear hatch, you'll find two rubber pieces that pop out. After placing and properly marking your starting holes, you can drill through the metal (eek) and it should line up correctly.

As for your 99 spoiler, I'm not sure what is left when you remove them, but they wont be the same as the newer spoiler.

Yeah there's 3 spots on the top where it appears to bolt on. Looks like it won't be a do it yourself type mod. I wonder if the newer spoiler will cover up the holes left behind by the old one? I'ld get them filled anyways (I don't like rust) haha.

you'd have to get the old holes filled and repaint the area -- the 99 spoiler bolts to the top, the 00-03 on the sides (as Daddy-O mentioned).
