Easiest way to remove the rear seats???
I recently had something really nasty spill in the rear seats... it went all over and through the seats to the carpet. I need to remove the the seats to clean the carpet.
After looking at the seats, I'm not really sure what the proper way is to remove them, and I don't wanna chance breaking off a plastic clip, etc. by doing it wrong.
Any insights appreciated.

its real easy. there are 4 bolts to each seat, and two more holding down a strap. first, remove the four front plastic covers under the becnh, on the floor. under them are the bolts. lossen them
then in the back hatch, ur gonna have to pop up the middle cover. (it looks like a carpeted hinge from the floor board to the back of the seats) after popping it up. there are some plastic pop in retainers, pop them out. then lift slightly on the carpet. ull notice slightly smaller bolts. (only one per seat) so two total. it is holding down the straps. after them slide the bench part of the seat all the way foward. then once again behind the seat pull up the back of the seat and ull find some more bolts on the floor. thats it ur all done.
be carefull the full bech seat is a little heavly and awkward to get out of the side door by urself.

Seat mechanism is elaborate and it really depends how far or what you want to remove.
1. From the trunk remove the deck board assembly (where the back of the seats meet the truck deck). This is held by 5 clips distributed some what evenly (screwdriver with tape on the tip)
2. Remove the 3 clips (LH seat) and 4 clips for the (RH seat), exposed from step 1.
{I dont know if you want to take one seat out or both}
3. Slide the seat to the back and loosen the front 2 bolts. Slide the seat to the front and loosen the rear 2 bolts. Remove all 4 and remove the seat. {exercise caution ... can cause damage to the body
Reassembly is reverse of removal. 4 bolts need to be torqued to 27lb-ft with the inner side bolts torqued first.
Discalimer: I have not removed the seats myself.

Thanks guys!!!!
I have one more, specific question:
This is the part I was uneasy about (having broken plastic parts in the past), the plastic covers on the runners of the rear seats, do they simply "pop off"? Do I use a straight blade screwdriver to simply pry them up?
Thanks again!

YEA THOSE FRIGGIN PIECES OF **** PLASTIC COVERS. LOL I HATE THEM. THEY DO JUST POP OFF, I THINK BEST WAY IS TO PULL UP ON THE BACK OF IT, AND TURN IT TO ITS SIDE. U CAN BE ROUGH WITH IT, THEY WONT BREAK, AND THEY BEND A BIT. ONCE U GET IT OFF, ULL SEE HOW IT ATTATCHES TO THE SEAT RAILS.
