OEM Spoiler - how to install?
Was reading about the spoiler deal coming to a close, but wanted to know more about what is involved in installing it first. Do you need to drill into anything or any other irreversable modifications?
Also other than looks, what is the advantage of having this? (need to justify cost to wife ;-)

Pop your tailgate. Look at the inside upper corners. There should be a round black rubber disk on each side. Pull of the disk and look inside the opening. You'll be able to replace the disk.
A hole must be drilled through the sheet metal on the outside of these opening and a socket wrench will bolt the spoiler through these opening. So, a total of 2 holes will be drilled.
I took my spoiler to a body shop for installation. They touched up the paint around the holes they drilled, applied silicone caulk around the hole, and a foam washer around the caulk. A beautiful, problem-free installation for $60.
Just a few days left on the Group buy. This is a great deal.

Thanks for the info. How much does this go for regularly?
I still need to improve the WAF (wife acceptance factor) on this buy. Does it help out with anothing besides the looks? Cut down on dust or rain on the rear window etc....?
