Default december to remember event...what is it?

went to test drive the rx300 today at the local lexus dealer. noticed that there were signs everywhere promoting the december to remember sales event. what is it? for some reason...i was mute and didn't ask anyone at the dealership.

any clue? sales galore...maybe.

It's something Lexus does every year. It's a promotion to sell year-end vehicles (2002's this year).

Any ideas on the deals that they are pushing? maybe I can snag a 2002 for a better deal than a 2001 rx?

kutscher, depends on the dealer. Go by and check 'em out, see if they are willing to deal - should be. I don't think 4k or a little more off MSRP will be out of the question for a new 2002.

I agree with LexRX... but I'd also like to add;

Go to a dealership that has the highest volume and the largest inventory for your area. It's also not a bad idea to go one or two states away to get the better deal. Depending on their inventory and need to push the old models off the lot, you could be looking at a grrreat deal.

You may not get exactly what you're looking for. But sometimes in order to get the best deal, you have to compromise also.

Best Regards,
Hando

i spoke the local dealer where i plan on getting my rx300. the salesperson told me that the event focuses mostly on leasing deals. and some 2002 close-out bargains.

and depending on the dealership...you might find specials on 2003 models.
