Looking for some advice if i should disconnect the RX300 battery when going out for 4 weeks.
In the past when i had gone out on vacations without disconnecting the batter i had found my battery always dead and needed a jump start.
So hoping that if i disconnect the battery then it will hold the charge and i can connect it back after 4 months. Trying to figure out with the help of this forum if i should be concerned about anything specific when leaving the battery disconnected.

A healthy battery should easily hold a charge for 4 weeks. You might want to get your battery tested. Also, If you are handy with an ammeter, measure the current flow from your battery with everything off. After a few minutes, to allow the computers to go to sleep, the current will drop to about 50-100 mA, just enough to keep the computer memories alive. A trickle charger is also an option, but you shouldn't need one if everything is working properly.
