I'm glad to know this works, but I keep thinking about the residue I'd expect to have on my clothes. Is that an issue?

Not at all. Allow the silicon 24 hrs to dry completely, then you are good to go.

From the manufacture: "NO DIRT - Dust and dirt won’t be a problem because B’laster silicone lubricant leaves a no-track film that won’t accumulate dust and dirt."

Thank you. I like this idea. But does the silicone lubricant remain wet?

I use another lubricant in my workroom. I use it around the house for lots of stuff. It is a dry lubricant...comes out of the spray as a liquid and dries almost immediately. I am going to try this.

Silicon lubricant dries about 10 min after applying and leaves no residue.
You can use any brand name silicon lubricant.

Sorry I have not tried Advanced Dry Lube with Teflon, maybe somebody has experience with it.

Red face

It worked...My 04 LS430 UL had that slow sluggish driver side seat belt. Applied liberally and viola, Zippy zappity and it goes in lickity split.

Only bad thing as I pulled the belt all the way out was to see what the belt looks like new and the part I always see. Its DIRTY or faded.

Thanks
Dave

Glad it helped. I love the V8 Lexus LS430.
