Default All the relays were going off at once while the car was off

When i walked outside tonight i found my car honking and lights flashing but not the car alarm going off. i tried to unlock the car with a my key fob and it didn't work so i had to use the actual key. when i got inside i tried to start the car and everything was flashing including the dash lights and console display but when i turned the key it all stopped. i could here the relays clicking from under the hood as well before i turned the key but yet again stopped when i turned the key. so i started by pulling the horn relay to stop the horn from going off and then pulled what i think was the starter relay because thats what sounded like it was clicking and then it all stopped and the car went silent again. so i tried to jump it with my other car and let it sit for a few minutes, put all the fuses back in and everything seemed fine until after about 5 minutes of charging i tried to start it again. the car would not start but it sounded like the normal clicking of a dead battery this time instead of nothing at all but then the relays started acting up again. i tried this all again but charged the car for a solid 10 minutes and the car still wouldn't start. i am completely dumbfounded as to what the problem could be!

Did you disconnect the battery? If you have not, do so for 15 min or so.

Your battery is shot. Unless you left something on that ran it down, just replace with a new one and it will be fine. They crazy relays are just a symptom of the dying battery.

+1, I have a feeling it's the battery.

do you think pulling it out and letting it sit on a charger for a few hours will help? or just a whole new battery? i can check how old it is later

What you state is pretty bazaar occurrence. When battery runs down, my experience has been very different (granted I have limited experience).

In any case, you can have the battery tested and the auto shops would find every reason to sell you a new battery. If you have had this battery for 3+ years , I might be tempted to get a new one.

Do you have any aftermarket electronics on board .. large cap or something?

I would have the battery load tested, I believe Autozone does it for free.
