ignition cylinder $600?

Default ignition cylinder $600?

My key wouldn't turn. I took it to dealership and they said its the ignition cylinder and it costs $600?? is this price excessive?

Yes, but then so is everything else at the dealer. Assuming you went to the Lexus dealer, try a local Toyata dealer, and independent shop or two, or a locksmith.

You should break it down to parts and labor. Without the key, you may have to flat bed your RX. The dealer would also give you a loaner while the vehicle is being fixed.

Do a search and save yourself $600. That problem has been encountered by quite a few owners of RX's and the cure is simple. Involves a screwdriver and a hammer. and a minute of your time. "Search" IS your friend!
