Between Triangle and Maxxis tyres, which is better?
I have a 2000 rx300 with about 200k miles on it. I want to change d tyres and a friend has recommended the triangle tires though I am thinking of Maxxis. Has anyone used them here? I would love to hear of actual experiences before I buy them. I live in Nigeria by the way. Mostly hot and wet weather.

To get a wider response, I would recommend that you visit tirerack.com. Keep in mind the reviews are from common people and not from experts.

^ Agreed.
Visit tirerack to see what tires have good reviews at a decent price. I'm not sure if they ship to Nigeria, you may have to find another supplier.
A few tires that I know rank well off the top of my head are:
- Michelin LTX MS2
- Firestone Destination LE ( I had these tires previously, great tires! I thought about purchasing a second set of these but couldn't find a good deal.)
- Firestone Destination LE 2
- General Grabbers HTS (I have these now, and they are fantastic. Virtually no wear at 6k miles, and very quiet. Good snow performance, although that's not an issue for you.)

Maybe Nomjisly (OP) can share with us the life expectancy of the tyre (sp intended)? Very few tyres get to live their life to full tread wear and succumb to punctures. That may influence his choice from performance to cost effective. I guess that is why he is looking to compare the two in his inquiry.
