Last Monday I purchased a 2001 RX300 with 161,000 miles and it still purrs like a kitten.

This is my first "luxury" vehicle and a couldn't be any happier. It seems as if it has been taken care of. Replacing the right rear door lock actuator and getting a second key are on the priority list.

Thanks for the DIY posts. They'll come in handy.

Looking forward to learning more.

Welcome, Tina!

I'm a former Durham boy, but moved out before I learned to talk so I talk like an Iowan instead. You'll love all the help you get on this forum!!

Welcome! I've been here only a couple weeks myself (new owner of 2000 RX300) and have learned much from the gurus here!

Congrats on the new (to you) RX!

Thanks for the welcome. Don't know if it happened to any of you, but now I look for reasons to drive.

Sorry, they are dark. The pics were taken early in the morning. They came out better on my phone. Oh well.

ETA: Bottom pic looks as if the roof rail is peeling. Had to go out and check to see if it was.....it's not.

I'm originally from New Orleans and live in WNC. So I talk like a Cajun.

Question: Does anyone know of a rubber mat that's large enough to fit in the back?

WeatherTech stuff is custom fit, and I know plenty of folks who are happy with it. You can get stuff to fit front, back, and cargo areas.

Your RX is a beauty! Looks just like the 2000 I just got with 144,000 miles!

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks! Might as well sign over my paycheck. lol

Cool!

Just got through doing a MPG test and it came out to 22.5, pretty close to what the display shows.
