Default AC Fan Not working

The AC fan from the middle console is not working the AC works and blows air from the side vents. I figure that is the one of the fan from the middle console that is broken so I'm trying to figure out how to change it. Any body has any idea about the same issu with the RX300?

Thank You

There is only one blower motor for all vents. The vents are controlled by air vent servos and the manual diverters (slider and directional control on the vents). One can modulate more or less from a certain vent by blocking the other vents and increasing the blower speed.

Actual ducts are snapped into each other with a foam gasket. Has any one worked on the console and separated the ducts? You should be able to hear air escaping from non-mated ducts.

If not then verify the manual sliders are in open and if that does not fix the problem try playing with the mode control and then finally look at the air mode servo threads.

The fan works fine from the side vents but when I change the fan to blow from the front It makes a loud noise from the front blower like if it was a motor and after a couple minutes stops blowing from the front and the noise stops.
The AC would still work fine but only blows from the side fan.

Nobody has work on the console yet but I will take check it out and see if their something wrong with the air vent servo.

Thanks for the advise

Francisco
