Default transmission fluid replacment any body use a mity-vac 7201

going to do shocks and trans fluid replacement soon. my ml320 merk we use the mity-vac to drain fluid through the tube also use it to remove oil from engine as the ml has 8.8 quarts of oil and it does a great job. it also shows how much fluid you pull out,and knowing you will have other fluid like the transfer case and behind or in the filter itself. w/out removing the drain plug you should be able to clean it from the inside never pulling the plug you never have a problem with a leak or stripping out your plug. just wanted to know if anybody has gone this route.

Not worth messing with that. The plugs are super easy to get to. The magnets always have junk on them and you will never get the fluid out of th differential like that.

RX transmission has a drain plug ... cant be any easier than that.
There are two points to drain and if you suck up by the dip stick, sediments in the other compartment will not be removed.

I agree with the others, drain it from the pan.

I've actually gone through the trouble of putting drain plugs in every vehicle I've owned which didn't have them.

This is going back 20+ years, as that's when I had my first automagic transmission.

My hat is off to Toyota for admitting transmission fluid, unless it's from another dimension, is NOT good for 'life'.
