car will not go in park
It started as a no start issue could not get fire to starter. I remembered last time car started it was in neutral so i put car in neutral and it fired rite up. well put car back in park turn car off tried to restart and nothing. i got out of car with it in park and was able to push car back n forth with ease...ANY IDEA WHAT I NEED TO DO??

Check the linkage between the gear lever and transmission.
Make sure you use the auxiliary brake and curb the wheels.
