hello RX guys! here is my new car project... 99 rx300-330 awd

MOtor comming out..
only mod is this bracket that holds the transfercase to the block during mating of the transmission to the engine
the parts to the left of this bracket has to be ground down, this was only cause the 3.3 was out of a fwd 2006 sienna.. if the motor is awd its direct swap..
grind to the left of the bracket to make it look similar to this so the transfer-case can clear the block. sorry i dont have pics of after me grinding the material on the block.
the carnage of the old motor.. this is just crazy looking.
The oil pump must be the version that is from the car, the 1mz and the 3mz oil pumps are different and will get in the way of the powersteering pump. since the 3mz fwd positiones the tentioner for timing belt at an angle the rx300 one straight up and down, so the oil pump, timing belt tention and tensioner pulley must be from the application that its going into.. the belt is the same.. so the rx300 1mz awd oil pump was fitted to the 3mz with the new tensioner and pulley, the other difference is the knock sensors in the valley under the lower intake manifold. the kock sensors, intake upper and lower are both from the old motor, the 1mz. and the wiring is simply plug and play, all other sensors are the same on my application.
here is the peek at the motor stamp in the car.. 99 rx330 awd

Lol gots me wondering if one of the v8's out of the lexus/toyota line of engine's would fit in this baby....perhaps size would be a issues.....I really want to try a twin turbo 3.5l in here with a 6 speed, it would be a beast possibly make the tires chirp, I'm also curious on the idea of it being converted into just rear wheel drive, it's a long shot but maybe one day! wish I had the time and money!!

Haha just think about the roaring v10 out of the LFA in here with a beefed up awd system, the first gen Rx would sure be a sleeper and take its class and luxury to a whole new level revving all the way to 9,000 rpm's wile looking like a regular family vehicle, I would love to pull up next to a big v8 ford or chevy and them challenge me to a drag race thinking they will win, then the light turns green and the Rx takes off smoking and shredding tires and then the other guy $***'s his pants

worth doing?
Cs,
Curious if you were hiring someone to change out an engine would the mods you needed to make add a lot of time and cost to the job? I looked at the photos but am not clear how much extra work you put in to make this 330 engine fit in the 300. Wonder what a regular shop would say to the proposition? Great job in any case.

thanks man
thank you sir
thanks man.
so everything is fine but shifts a bit rough! but i dono if that was there before, cause i didnt drive it before when it was running.... also the original engine blew up cause oil change wasnt done on it for like almost 4 years! the oil filter on it was dated 2011 from like jiffy lube.. the oil had solidified, and clogged the oil pickup tube. and in the pan, looks like straight up solid coal/carbon.
