When we bought our 99, the salesman casually told us not to loose the key. About $100 to replace.
Now the problem. Wife's key holder is cracked. The plastic inside that holds the actual metal ket. She must pull it to one side when she starts the car. I have tried superglue, but it does not hold. Do I have to buy the entire key, or can I get just the casing?

Actually I had a problem similar to this. Dont throw the keys around. They're not as durrable when fall from 5 to 6 feet in the air. If you go to the dealership and ask them you need to get a new housing for the key. If only the key has a broken plastic peice then you may be able to get a back to normal. It was done for free for me because it was taken in for a bunch of other things so I guess throwing in a peice of plastic wasnt a big deal. Anyways if its not too back you should be able to get just the hosing and put that on. They will probably put it on for you too.
