No spark after changing spark plugs and filters
RX300 was running fine, although the gas mileage sucked so I cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, changed PCV valve, chenged air filter and changed spark plugs and now the vehicle cranks but doesn't fire. I checked 2 of the plugs and no spark.
I re-checked all the connections and hoses that I disconnected and they are all snapped/plugged in. I checked the 2 ground wires that I took off and they are tight and clean. I had the battery connected during all this work so I disconnected it and let it set a while then re-connected still no spark.
Also, I am going to change my O2 sensor (it's dangling because the studs broke off) but I need to get it started so I can drive it to my shop where my torches are).
What am I missing other than my daughter's soccer game?

Even though the ground wires were 'clean' they weren't making a good ground. I removed them, sandpapered down the contact surface, put everything back together and fired right up.
What got me thinking it was a ground was when I was cranking it and it wouldn't start my RPM gauge was going wacko and a relay in the fuse panel under the hood was buzzing. In my many years of troubleshooting electrical controls in the HVAC industry, when **** starts acting weird check your grounds and electrical connections.

There is nothing like the feeling of doing it yourself and it is awesome having a forum like this to turn to for insight into the many tasks we need to perform on our RX's.
I am hoping in the future I can help out all of you as much as you've already helped me.
I will be painting and clearcoating the wheels soon because they are starting to blister. Does anyone care to see a step by step on the process with pictures? My brother has owned a few bodyshops and is a master bodyman and painter, he said he would give me some tips....
